I’m looking forward to visiting SLC in September, both to help out at the Day of Data, but also to speak on my “Pets versus Cows” topic. It’s been very educational for me to work with a top notch automation engineer and learn a lot of things in Terraform and general dev ops that I was missing. I’m not a Terraform person, but at least I’m Terraform-friendly.
I’m also excited about a fun end to the year. I’ll be in Barcelona to help out in the Community Lounge, putting on my own PNW Day of Data in November, and then going right up to Seattle for the PASS Summit!
I’m not shy about saying that speaking publicly has helped my career, my confidence, and I have made some really good friends along the way. I hope to see you all in SLC!
